Sue was promoted to Vice President and CIO in March of 2000. She has been a Group Health Actuary for 15 years. She began her career at Cairnstone in September 1996 as the actuary on staff and soon after was promoted to Director Operations. She is currently responsible for the development and implementation of policies and procedures for all telecommunications, information technology, applications and programming support.

Prior to joining Cairnstone, Sue was the employer stop loss actuary for Alden Risk Management Services and had previously provided actuarial support to other John Alden divisions focused on fully insured group health plans as well as its Miami-based HMO. She received her BA in Mathematics and Computer Science from Boston College.
