Gene is Vice President of Sales, and operates out of Cairnstone’s Chicago office where he is responsible for managing a sales territory which includes Illinois, Michigan, Minnesota and Wisconsin. Gene joined Cairnstone as Marketing Director in February 1997 and opened the Chicago regional office. He has 28 years experience in employee benefits. Prior to joining Cairnstone, Gene was with National Benefit Resources for 10 years. He opened their Chicago office and helped build one of the company’s largest and most profitable blocks, twice leading his office to “Region of the Year” awards. Consistently among the top producers, Gene led the company in sales in 1990-91 and 1991-92. In December 1993, Gene was promoted to President of Stop Loss International, an Indianapolis based MGU owned by NBR. Gene earned his BS in Business Administration from Western Illinois University.
