Emily joined Cairnstone, Inc. in June 1998 as a Marketing Underwriter for the New England Regional Office. In August 2000, she teamed up with the company’s actuary in Andover, Massachusetts to oversee all of Cairnstone’s renewal underwriting and in September 2002 became the Director of Underwriting.

Emily has 14 years of experience in the insurance industry. Her insurance career began at the New York Life Insurance Company as a contract analyst. In 1990 she became a stop loss underwriter for R.E. Moulton, Inc. At R.E. Moulton, Emily worked with a number of stop loss carriers, marketing and underwriting their new business products and renewals. Emily graduated from Denison University in Granville, Ohio with a BA Degree in Geology and Spanish, and an MBA in Business Management from Salem State College.
